Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, analyze, interpret, and visualize data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of data management, and hands-on experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and/or Tableau.

The Data Analyst will work closely with different departments to identify trends, generate meaningful insights, prepare reports and dashboards, and help the organization make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and anomalies.

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

  • Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and business teams.

  • Translate business requirements into meaningful analytical reports and visualizations.

  • Perform data quality checks and ensure accuracy and consistency of reports.

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Identify business trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and data needs.

  • Automate recurring reports and analytical processes wherever possible.

  • Maintain proper documentation of data sources, calculations, reports, and analytical processes.

  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Support management in data-driven planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including:

    • Pivot Tables

    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

    • INDEX/MATCH

    • IF functions

    • Charts and dashboards

    • Power Query

  • Good working knowledge of SQL.

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.

  • Understanding of databases and data structures.

  • Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.

  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis.

Analytical Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to identify trends and patterns from complex datasets.

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights.

  • Logical and structured approach to problem-solving.

Communication Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to explain analytical findings in a simple and understandable manner.

  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related role.

  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, sales, finance, operations, or business datasets is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis is an added advantage.

  • Experience with cloud databases or data warehouses is a plus.
